oh, it feels so good.  as a longtime political skeptic and naysayer, i’ve been complaining about bush since… well, ever since 9/11 went horribly wrong.  i’ve literally been posting bush rants for years, and even though obama’s presumptive nomination isn’t necessarily a guarantee that things really will change, i’m just enjoying the moment, and even feeling… patriotic?  what a strange sensation!

i just want to give obama a big victory hug… what an amazing election this has been thus far.

the real work is now ahead of us in the general election.  it’s definitely going to get ugly, but i hope obama will continue to run the kind of campaign that has inspired a nation.

AMEN!! I actually cheered at my television last night…I totally echo your feelings, its a rarity that I feel “patriotic” and I do! I could cry with hope right now!
